Tsubasa Shiki, a 16 year old transfer student from Tokyo, moves north to Hokkaido in order to live with his grandmother. As Tsubasa takes in his new frozen surroundings, he encounters Minami Fuyuki, a teenage girl who is dressed in 'gal' fashion. Though his peers back in Tokyo considered Tsubasa to be a bit unremarkable, Minami is very forward and decides to show him around. When Tsubasa shows up to his new high school, he is surprised to see that Minami is one of the girls in his class. As it turns out, she isn't the only eccentric girl in school...
